Dr. James Stallbaumer

Dr. James Stallbaumer was born and raised in Seneca Kansas. Dr. James attended Nemaha Valley High School where he was very active in sports and loved the outdoors. After high school he attended Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kansas where he was on the track and field team. While at Cloud he earned his Associates of Science degree. He then went on to attend Kansas State University where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree. From there, Dr. James attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, KS where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. While in chiropractic school, Dr. James met his wife and now business partner Dr. Kelsey Stallbaumer. In June 2016, they purchased Swim Chiropractic in Hiawatha, Kansas and opened Stallbaumer Family Chiropractic LLC. Dr. James specializes in Diversified technique, which is hands-on manipulation. He is also certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. Dr. James became interested in chiropractic after watching his parents suffer with neck and back pain through his childhood. He would go to the chiropractor with them and watch them get pain relief through the use of chiropractic adjustments. He loved the fact that the body could heal itself without the use of medicines or invasive treatments.

Dr. Kelsey Stallbaumer

Dr. Kelsey Stallbaumer was born and raised in Independence, Kansas where she attended Independence Senior High School. After high school, Dr. Kelsey attended McPherson College and then went on to Kansas State University where she earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Life Sciences. She then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, Kansas where she graduated Magna Cum Laude her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. While in school, she met her husband Dr. James. Doctor Kelsey is Advanced Proficiency Rated in Activator Methods, an instrument assisted adjustment that provides quick low-force impulses. Along with Activator Technique, Dr. Kelsey is certified in Acupuncture Meridian Therapy, Webster Technique, Kinesio-taping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. After graduation, Dr. Kelsey joined high volume practice in North Kansas City to gain professional experience before she and Dr. James started Stallbaumer Family Chiropractic LLC. Dr. Kelsey became interested in chiropractic after she was treated for headaches with chiropractic and finally found relief when nothing else had worked. While in college at Manhattan, Kansas she worked as a chiropractic assistant for the same doctor who cured her headaches; she ultimately fell in love with the profession and decided that she wanted to help people the same way.
